The backup quarterback best known for a notorious stint as a spot starter with the Buffalo Bills has signed a one-year deal with the Chicago Bears. The Bears announced the transaction on Wednesday.
Peterman, 28, has spent the last two seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders, a favorite of now-exiled head coach Jon Gruden, who sung his praises when he joined the Raiders in 2019 despite his “nightmare performances.”
