Former President Donald Trump could soon return to Twitter (TWTR) now that Elon Musk has agreed to move forward with his $44 billion acquisition of the social media company.
Musk has said in the past that he doesn’t agree with the lifetime ban on Trump, which Twitter enacted in early 2021 following the Jan. 6 attack on Capitol Hill. But restoring Trump’s account could pose another challenge for the platform should incendiary tweets drive advertisers away from Twitter and toward competitors…
