I usually do Yahoo mock auctions (and auctions at several other platforms) to get a feel about how auctions could flow. I amass hundreds of mocks then use that data to create a strategy that will work at least 99% of the time.
Sometimes I get a little weary of crunching all the numbers, and I want to take a break. NO I DON’T STEP AWAY FROM MOCKING, you fools! I run a Yahoo! mock auction, and see if I can get it to award me a perfect 100/100 score.
