Google inks power deal for large solar project ‘to operate Spanish cloud region carbon-free’

German developer Ib Vogt has started to build the 149MWp Garnacha solar power plant in the Spanish province of Zamora, and signed a 12-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for its output with US internet giant Google.
