CCI order would cause irreparable harm, Google tells SC; Ola stops lending through Avail Finance app

Last Wednesday, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) refused to halt a Competition Commission of India order that requires Google to make changes to its Android ecosystem.

Now, the search giant has asked the Supreme Court to halt the order, saying it would cause “lasting and irreparable harm” to Google, device manufacturers, app developers, Indian consumers, and the wider economy.
