Mortgage rates are back up again following two weeks of declines that did little to boost homebuyer demand. The rate on the 30-year fixed mortgage jumped to 5.51% from 5.30% the week prior, according to Freddie Mac. Amazon (AMZN) released the results of its Prime Day 2022 event on Thursday, saying Prime subscribers purchased some 300 million items worldwide during the two-day sales event.
