Huge crash happens just 15 laps into 2021 Daytona 500

The 2021 Daytona 500 didn’t even make it 15 laps without a massive crash. Christopher Bell’s push of Aric Almirola took out a host of cars on lap 15 of Sunday’s race. The crash came less than five minutes before the race was red-flagged for lightning from thunderstorms approaching Daytona International Speedway. With the incoming rain, it made a ton of sense for drivers to patiently race before the inevitable rain delay. After all, the Daytona 500 is 200 laps. Instead, drivers were aggressive… Source link

WHO scientist supports shock claim about Covid

A leading scientist who was part of the World Health Organisation-led team to investigate the origins of coronavirus in Wuhan has cast further doubt the virus emerged in China. Professor John Watson, who spent four weeks in Hubei province at the start of the year, said the virus’s leap from animals to humans may have occurred outside the country’s borders. He says the pandemic most likely started with an infection in an “animal reservoir” which was then passed on to humans through an… Source link

Technology is changing a rapid pace, and when it settles, it will dramatically change the way we drive. In 2030, our concept of ‘car’ will likely be unrecognizable to drivers from 1980. The biggest changes are coming from power systems and artificial intelligence. AI will bring autonomous tech to our cars, making self-driving vehicles a reality. But the power… Source link

Wizards didn’t give John Wall ‘honesty and respect’ with trade

John Wall is returning to D.C. on Monday for the first time since the Washington Wizards traded him to the Houston Rockets on Dec. 2. The trade happened more than two months ago, and Wall still has a lot of feelings about the Wizards deciding to move on and swap him for Russell Westbrook. Just hear me out big fella

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs made the move to Buffalo last offseason and it paid off with the biggest season of his career. It also paid off with the best Bills season in decades. They still fell short of a trip to the Super Bowl, however, and Diggs would like to see the Bills make another splash this offseason as they try to take that final step. The player that Diggs has in mind is defensive end J.J. Watt. Watt was released by the Texans on Friday and Diggs shot a tweet to the three-time… Source link
