Biden administration move for disabled borrowers was ‘the bare minimum,’ advocacy group says

Advocacy groups are calling on the Education Department (ED) to forgive $8 billion in student debt held by nearly 518,000 borrowers who are totally and permanently disabled. Stock futures trade flat after strong inflation data

Stock futures traded little changed Thursday evening as investors looked beyond a hotter-than-expected report on inflation.  Contracts on the S&P 500 hugged the flat line after the index set a new record high during the regular trading day.
