Here’s what we know so far: It’ll come in two forms: Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Google is announcing the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro today, though it might be better to call it a preview or a tease. At a laboratory inside a Google data center in Mayes County, Oklahoma, researchers spent the fall of 2019 disassembling old hard disk drives by hand in order to extract a 2-inch-long component known as the magnet assembly.
