When trying to get rid of an annoying advert on my Sony TV with Android TV, I gave up in frustration. I’m not the only one bothered by this. Unfortunately, the problem is industry-wide.
You shell out a few thousand francs for a Sony television. Google’s Android TV operating system is preinstalled on it. Neither Sony nor Google seem to have a problem penalizing customers for choosing a device with Android TV.
