Google Is Limiting How Chrome Extension Developers Can Use Your Data

Chrome extension developers shouldn’t be able to collect and use your personal data however they see fit. From January, Google is ensuring developers clearly state what data is being collected by an extension while at the same time placing new limits on how it can be used.
