What to watch this week

Another likely red-hot inflation reading and a handful of key corporate earnings results are on tap for investors this week, offering further catalysts after the past several weeks’ volatility across risk assets. On the economic data front, Thursday’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is set to be the most closely watched print. Investors have been anxiously awaiting signs of a peak in inflation — and to that end, the incoming data is unlikely to offer… Source link

Yes, there is some push for a “return to normal” and getting workers back into offices. But ideas such as food vouchers and parking… Source link

Backlash against Russian-branded gas stations hits American workers

NEWARK, N.J.—Outraged by the invasion of Ukraine, lawmakers in New Jersey’s largest city lashed out at one of the closest symbols of Russia they could find—a pair of Lukoil gas stations. The Newark City Council voted unanimously Wednesday to ask the city’s business administrator to suspend the service stations’ operating licenses, citing Lukoil’s base in Moscow. Bitcoin boom leaves gun-shy advisors struggling to provide crypto guidance to clients

Cryptocurrency’s breakthrough from the financial fringes to the mainstream has been characterized by major investors like Paul Tudor Jones — and some companies like Microstrategy (MSTR) and Tesla (TSLA) — dipping their toes into Bitcoin (BTC-USD). Even Apple (AAPL) CEO Tim Cook is getting in on the action. Monday will mark the official end of New York City’s vaccine passport system, with the… Source link

How to Use Google Drive’s New Search Tools

The Title only search chip is another useful one. When you run a search on Google Drive, that search will look through the contents of your files, as well as their names, even scanning the text inside images. If you’re looking for a particular file name rather than anything inside a file, Title only specifies that and can significantly reduce the number of results you have to comb through. If you want to go back and see the original search results again, click the small X icon next to a… Source link
