What we’re expecting from Google I/O 2021

Because we’re still in the midst of COVID19, Google I/O is going virtual this year, — it was canceled last year — livestreamed for free to all. The company’s developer conference begins on Tuesday, May 18, with the keynote event set to kick off at 10 AM PT/ 1PM ET. With that date soon approaching, it’s time to speculate about what might make an appearance, and what we’re unlikely to see. This year, there haven’t been that many leaks ahead of time, which makes me hope the company… Source link

How to Receive a Perfect 100 Score ⋆ Football Absurdity

I usually do Yahoo mock auctions (and auctions at several other platforms) to get a feel about how auctions could flow. I amass hundreds of mocks then use that data to create a strategy that will work at least 99% of the time. Sometimes I get a little weary of crunching all the numbers, and I want to take a break. NO I DON’T STEP AWAY FROM MOCKING, you fools! I run a Yahoo! mock auction, and see if I can get it to award me a perfect 100/100 score. Yeah, about that… I’m going to… Source link

Jags’ Jimmy Smith happy for Tim Tebow over Kaepernick

It’s easy to see why people are confused by Urban Meyer’s move to consider bringing Tim Tebow to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The former Heisman Trophy winner hasn’t played in the NFL since 2012 and has been busy trying to make it in Major League Baseball for years. Tebow, 33, also hasn’t ever played tight end, which is what Meyer is considering for his former star QB on a one-year deal. Longtime former Jaguars wide receiver Jimmy Smith, however, is all about it. “We need a guy like Tim… Source link

Vaccinated Americans are ready to drop their masks after CDC shift. But they’re not ready to socialize with the unvaccinated.

According to a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll, the CDC’s surprise shift could finally signal the beginning of the end of masking in the U.S. — while also ushering in a new era defined by growing divisions between vaccinated and unvaccinated Americans.
