Trevor Lawrence signs endorsement deal with crypto app

The NFL draft doesn’t start until Thursday, but Trevor Lawrence is already making deals like a pro football player.  Lawrence, the overwhelming favorite to be the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with the cryptocurrency investment app Blockfolio. The terms of the first-of-its-kind deal haven’t been disclosed, but he did receive a signing bonus that was paid out entirely in crypto and deposited into his Blockfolio account. A spokesperson for the… Source link

Are the Falcons shopping Julio Jones?

Julio Jones made one of the greatest catches in NFL history, and it’s all but forgotten.  With under five minutes remaining in the game and the Falcons up by eight, Jones extended on a Matt Ryan pass that was probably nine feet in the air, toe-tapped as he was falling out of bounds at the opposition’s 22, and cradled the ball like a newborn in what should have been a game-clinching catch.  Of course, the Falcons had been leading that game by a score of 28-3, so you probably know what… Source link

Where’s Microsoft going next in the ‘prosumer’ space?

Credit: Microsoft In 2018, Microsoft execs told its reseller partners that it had a plan to try to win back consumers, starting with “Modern Life” Services, the complement to its existing “Modern Work” business productivity services. Offensive tackle Russell Okung, who famously followed through on his declaration to “pay me in bitcoin,” still takes half of his $13 million salary in fiat. Culkin will start stacking biweekly sats via Zap’s Strike, the same fiat-to-bitcoin salary conversion service Okung… Source link

It’s built on anonymized group-targeting principles vs. individuals. Google calls these groups “Federated Learning of Cohorts,” or FLoC, where brands won’t be able to determine… Source link

Ryan Cohen Maps Out GameStop Turnaround Plan

(Bloomberg) — Perhaps no one, not even the day-trading hero they call Roaring Kitty, is more responsible for the improbable 700% rally in GameStop Corp. this year than Ryan Cohen. At 35 years old, Cohen is a billionaire entrepreneur with a reputation for a Midas touch after building the pet-supply site he co-founded — Chewy — into a booming business. And so when word got out in mid-January that he had secured three seats on GameStop’s board after amassing a 13% stake, shares of the… Source link
