Google will stop using ‘cookies’ to track you – here’s why that’s such a big deal – WRCBtv.com

“Google, please don’t do this,” wrote the Electronic Frontier Foundation, a digital rights group, in a blog post. In the post, EFF technologist Bennett Cyphers argued that, depending on how small each cohort is and the ability for clever companies to cross-reference that data with other available information — such as your email address — it may well be possible for third parties to figure out who you are, anyway. Yahoo Fantasy Baseball ADP Analysis: 2021 Draft targets

HITTERS I LIKE MORE THAN ADP Byron Buxton, Minnesota Twins (Yahoo ADP 125) Buxton enters as one of the bigger injury risks, but that’s baked into his ADP. He, however, brings even bigger upside. He led baseball in homers per plate appearance last season, and plenty of stolen base potential remains (he was the second-fastest player from home to first last year). Buxton could certainly improve his ability to walk, but the former No. 2 overall pick is terrific defensively, has been a bit… Source link

No Plans to Speed Up Data Collection For Core Web Vitals

Google’s Core Web Vitals testing tools take 28 days to gather aggregate field data, and that likely won’t change any time soon. Google Search Advocate John Mueller stated as much during the Search Central SEO hangout recorded on March 5. Search Engine Journal’s IT Director, Vahan Petrosyan, asked Mueller about this while noting the challenges the 28-day window creates for developers and SEOs. When a change is made to a site to improve Core Web Vitals, it will be at least 28 days before… Source link

After similar moves for Shopping and Flights, Google makes hotel listings free – TechCrunch

Last year, Google made a significant change to its Google Shopping destination by making it free for e-commerce retailers to sell on Google, when before the Shopping tab had been dominated by paid product listings. Beginning this week, Google will make it free for hotels and travel companies around the… Source link
