Baker Mayfield misses wide-open touchdown, wins anyway

When Baker Mayfield’s in the driver’s seat, buckle up. Mayfield’s Cleveland Browns knocked off the Jacksonville Jaguars, 27-25, on Sunday afternoon, moving to 8-3 and solidifying a hold on a playoff spot. But the game had a lot more drama than any contest involving the Jaguars ought to. This isn’t to disparage the Browns’ effort this year. Cleveland needed more than three seasons to win eight games before Mayfield arrived. But man, Mayfield keeps things interesting for this team. He… Source link

Five Energy Stocks To Buy Before Christmas

For many people, the Christmas season is a time for celebrating, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Understandably, not many will have time to draw up investment strategies when preoccupied with tinsel and turkey. Broncos QBs, Ravens-Steelers latest absurdities of COVID year

Are you happy, NFL? Are you getting what you want? We know the answer to this, of course. The NFL, which for our purposes means the billionaire team owners and their bank accounts, is still being paid by the league’s broadcast partners. It doesn’t matter how many people — players, coaches, staff and their family, and community members — are being needlessly put at risk. As long as the club owners are getting their money, they’re getting what they want. League-friendly media members… Source link

Why Kendall Hinton is wide receiver-eligible in fantasy football on Yahoo, CBS but not ESPN

It’s safe to say Kendall Hinton started in zero fantasy football lineups as of Thanksgiving. But three days later, the Broncos rookie could play a key role in the stretch run to the fantasy playoffs. After Denver had to place all four of its rostered quarterbacks on the COVID-19/reserve list, Hinton is expected to take the offensive reins in Week 12 against the Saints. Hinton is eligible as a wide receiver on three major fantasy football sites. Like Taysom Hill showed a week ago as a… Source link

Jill Biden, Joe’s chief protector, to step up as first lady

WASHINGTON (AP) — She’s fended off protesters who made a run at her husband. She’s moved him farther from reporters during the coronavirus pandemic. She’s supported his presidential ambitions again and again — except in 2004, when she deployed a novel messaging technique to keep Joe Biden from running. “No,” Jill Biden, then clad in a bikini, wrote in Sharpie across her stomach and then marched through a strategy session in which advisers were trying to talk her husband into… Source link
