LOS ANGELES — Jordan Spieth was disqualified from the Genesis Invitational on Friday after he signed an incorrect scorecard. Spieth, who posted a 2-over 73 on Friday at Riviera Country Club, signed his card stating that he made a par at the par-3 fourth in the second round. He actually made a bogey after his drive missed the green, and then he missed a 5-foot putt to save his par by just a few inches. DQ’d? From a pro-am? That appears to be the case for Jordan Spieth at the 2022 JP McManus Pro-Am in Limerick, Ireland. The event is a two-day, 36-hole charitable event that has raised more than $145 million in its previous five stagings. Spieth is one of a plethora of stars playing. Jordan Spieth got as close to the cliffs at Pebble Beach as he possibly could on Saturday afternoon. Though he miraculously saved par in the third round of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Spieth had to take off running backward after his shot so he didn’t fall nearly 70 feet down onto the rocks and beach below. “It was by far the most nerve-wracking shot I’ve ever hit in my life, like by far,” he was heard telling his caddie.
