The NBA would love seven games of this, but will have to settle for one … and change, if there’s a repeat of whatever clock malfeasance occurred in Los Angeles on Saturday night. Another footnote of the LeBron James-Stephen Curry book was entered, with the Warriors coming away with a 128-121 victory, and it’s likely those two will do this dance again in a little over a month in the Play-In Tournament — although it’s not completely out of the question Golden State or the Lakers… Source link

A fan at the Target Center on Tuesday night interrupted the Minnesota Timberwolves’ play-in game against the Los Angeles Clippers with an attempted on-court protest. Though the protester used a new method to try and get her message across, it didn’t stick very well. In the second quarter of the play-in game in Minneapolis, while a free throw was happening at the other end, officials quickly halted the game after a protester ran onto the floor and apparently started trying to glue herself to… Source link

The NBA expanded its playoff play-in concept for this season following the popular and successful intro inside the bubble at Walt Disney World last summer. At least one player in the league, however, isn’t happy about it. “I don’t understand the idea of a play-in,” Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic said Monday night, . “You play 72 games to get into the playoffs, then maybe you lose two in a row and you’re out of the playoffs. So I don’t see the point of that.” Dallas tracking… Source link
