Detroit Pistons assistant general manager Rob Murphy has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation following allegations of inappropriate workplace conduct with a female former employee, multiple sources told Yahoo Sports. The investigation is expected to conclude by early next week if not sooner, sources told Yahoo Sports. Restricted free agent forward Marvin Bagley III has reached an agreement with the Detroit Pistons on a three-year, $37 million deal, league sources told Yahoo Sports on Thursday. He was traded to the Pistons last season after three-plus seasons with the Sacramento Kings and played 18 games in Detroit, averaging 14.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. Tuesday was Cade Cunningham’s night as the Detroit Pistons received the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NBA draft. Cunningham has been the favored top pick since the midway through the college season and all signs point to Pistons picking Cunningham on July 29.
