The San Francisco 49ers intend to release defensive lineman Arik Armstead after the two sides failed to agree on a restructured contract, according to multiple media reports. Google Pay is shutting down in the U.S. in an effort to focus its payment services on Google Wallet. In a blog post on Thursday, Google said the U.S. version of the standalone Google Pay app would be shutting down by June 4, 2024.
