WASHINGTON – Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was arrested Saturday in Napa, California, for allegedly driving under the influence, according to county records. A booking report shows Paul Pelosi, 82, was arrested at 11:44 p.m. PT Saturday, booked at 4 a.m. Sunday and charged with misdemeanors for allegedly driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or higher. The beef in Boston appears to have officially been quashed. Celtics great Kevin Garnett saw his jersey retired at TD Garden on Sunday. Eric Schmidt, the former chief executive of Google, has paid $65 million for Enchanted Hill, a prized piece of undeveloped land in Beverly Hills that was owned by late Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, according to people familiar with the situation.
