Isaiah Thomas is ready to make his return to the NBA. Thomas signed a deal with the Denver Nuggets’ G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold, on Monday, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Thomas is set to compete in the G League Showcase in Las Vegas starting on Sunday. After acquiring Aaron Gordon at the trade deadline, the Denver Nuggets have locked him up long-term. Gordon and the Nuggets have agreed to a four-year, $92 million contract extension that includes a player option for the 2025-26 season. The Athletic’s Shams Charania broke the news Tuesday, citing Gordon’s agent Calvin Andrews. Popeyes (QSR) is adding chicken nuggets to its menu, using the same recipe as the hotly-coveted chicken sandwich that’s been a runaway hit for the restaurant chain.
