Lions safety Tracy Walker was ejected from Detroit’s 38-35 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon after he landed a dirty hit on Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. Hurts took off running in the third quarter at Ford Field with a 31-21 lead and slid to give himself up. As he was going down, Walker dove into him and made contact with Hurts’ helmet. The NBA has begun an investigation into the New York Knicks for alleged tampering regarding free agent pickup Jalen Brunson, sources told Yahoo Sports. The league will look into whether the Knicks made contact with Brunson prior to the start of the free agency period. One of the long-expected NBA free agency deals made some headway Tuesday, and when free agency opens on Thursday, the New York Knicks are expected to present Jalen Brunson a four-year offer in the vicinity of $110 million, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Things got testy early in Sunday’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and Baltimore Ravens. And the Ravens weren’t involved.  As Rams defenders broke their huddle during Baltimore’s opening possession, a scuffle ensued. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey shoved safety Taylor Rapp in the facemask, and teammates had to separate them.  It’s unclear what set Ramsey and Rapp off.
