Jalen Hurts has a big night and Eagles make a statement with easy win over Vikings

Jalen Hurts has a big night and Eagles make a statement with easy win over Vikings

Jalen Hurts has improved every season we’ve seen him play football on a big stage. He improved through his college career, first at Alabama (where he was usurped by Tua Tagovailoa before his junior year) and then at Oklahoma. He made strides from his first to second season in the NFL, too. The Philadelphia Eagles built the type of team around Hurts that can compete for a division title and maybe a lot more. They needed Hurts to do his part. Maybe it shouldn’t be a surprise that Hurts, with the… Source link

Lions safety Tracy Walker ejected after dirty hit on Eagles QB Jalen Hurts

Lions safety Tracy Walker was ejected from Detroit’s 38-35 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday afternoon after he landed a dirty hit on Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. Hurts took off running in the third quarter at Ford Field with a 31-21 lead and slid to give himself up. As he was going down, Walker dove into him and made contact with Hurts’ helmet. That blow drew a personal foul for the hit. He then immediately followed it up by throwing a punch in an altercation after the play,… Source link

Bucs dominate Eagles, as Jalen Hurts struggles

Bucs dominate Eagles, as Jalen Hurts struggles

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers answered many questions about their postseason preparedness with a dominant wild-card victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. On the flip side, following a 31-15 loss to the Buccaneers, the Eagles enter their offseason with major questions after they were outplayed in all phases of the game. Their biggest question is with quarterback Jalen Hurts. The Bucs have no such concerns. Tom Brady was his typically efficient self despite taking hits, completing 29 of 37 passes for… Source link

Landon Collins secures wild interception of Jalen Hurts

Landon Collins secures wild interception of Jalen Hurts

You’ve never seen an interception quite like this.  Landon Collins made one of the plays of the NFL season early in Tuesday’s NFC East tilt between the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Football Team.  With the Eagles facing third-and-1 on their first possession, quarterback Jalen Hurts looked to tight end Dallas Goedert in the flat. Hurts hit his target, but Goedert couldn’t corral the ball, which bounced off his hands as he turned upfield.  The ball appeared to hit the turf before the… Source link

Google’s Manifest V3 still hurts privacy, security, and innovation

It’s been over two years since our initial response to Google’s Manifest V3 proposal. Manifest V3 is the latest set of changes to the Chrome browser’s rules for browser extensions. Each extensions manifest version update introduces backwards-incompatible changes to ostensibly move the platform forward. In 2018, Manifest V3 was framed as a proposal, with Google repeatedly claiming to be listening to feedback. Let’s check in to see where we stand as 2021 wraps up. Since announcing Manifest… Source link

Where inflation hurts the most

Where inflation hurts the most

Inflation is back, and consumers have noticed. Consumer prices in April rose by the most in 12 years, as product shortages conspired with strong demand by consumers emerging from the coronavirus pandemic. Annual inflation is now 4.2%, a pace economists expect to persist and maybe rise further during the next few months. Household budgets are suffering. In a new Yahoo Finance-Harris poll, 53% of respondents say their household income is failing to keep up with inflation. Fifteen percent say… Source link

Doug Pederson’s reasoning for pulling Jalen Hurts makes no sense

Doug Pederson’s reasoning for pulling Jalen Hurts makes no sense

Of all the challenges that lurk amid the competitive carnage of an NFL game, getting kneecapped by your own coach generally isn’t one of them. Well, unless you’re a Philadelphia Eagle, who on Sunday was asked to fight and battle the Washington Football Team only to have coach Doug Pederson effectively tank the game by pulling starter Jalen Hurts in the fourth quarter of what was, at the time, a 17-14 game. Hurts was replaced by Nate Sudfeld, the franchise’s longtime third… Source link
