Florida and Georgia issued a joint statement on Sunday morning condemning an antisemitic message that was projected onto the exterior of TIAA Bank Field after the Bulldogs’ 42-20 win over the Gators. Let’s all welcome Kansas to the Top 25. It’s been a long wait. After improving to 5-0 with a 14-11 victory over Iowa State on Saturday, the Jayhawks came in at No. 19 in the most recent Associated Press Top 25. There’s a new No. 1 in the AP Top 25. Georgia surpassed Alabama for the top spot after Week 2 following an easy win over Samford while the Crimson Tide struggled against Texas. Alabama was a 20-point favorite over the Longhorns and won 20-19 on a field goal in the final seconds. Scott Frost’s time at Nebraska has come to an end. Nebraska athletic director Trev Alberts announced Sunday that the school has fired Frost as head coach just three games into his fifth season on the job. The move comes on the heels of a 45-42 home loss to Georgia Southern that dropped the Huskers to 1-2 on the season and 16-31 overall with Frost as head coach. The Cornhuskers lost 45-42 to Georgia Southern on Saturday night as the Eagles became the third Sun Belt team to beat a Power Five opponent in Week 2.
