Google Chrome has reportedly updated the message that users see when they’re in “incognito mode” following the settlement of a $5 billion privacy lawsuit. Google added a disclaimer that the privacy function still collects user data that websites and services can access, according to the Verge, which said MSPowerUser first spotted the change. The new message is only visible on the latest version of Google Chrome, the Verge reported. The previous message is still visible for some Chrome users.

The cloud division of tech giant Google (GOOGL) has joined the Flare blockchain as a validator and infrastructure provider. Google Cloud is one of 100 organizations adopting this combined role, both securing the network as a validator and contributing to the Flare Time Series Oracle (FTSO), according to an announcement shared with CoinDesk on Monday. Google just announced a change for users in Europe that will let them decide exactly how much data-sharing they’re comfortable with. The new policy, which the company said was in response to the EU’s Digital Markets Act (DMA), allows users to opt out of data sharing across all, some, or none of a select number of Google’s services.
