Google has reportedly cut a team of contractors that had gone on a union strike against the company. According to a report by The Verge. the Alphabet Workers Union-CWA, representing contractors for YouTube Music, allege that Google terminated their contracts following an extended strike.

The affected group, comprising moderators employed by Google contractor Cognizant in Austin, Texas, was responsible for vetting music content for YouTube Music.
