Yandex (YNDX) Q3 Earnings Beat Estimates, Revenues Up Y/Y

Yandex N.V. YNDX reported third-quarter 2020 adjusted earnings of 27 centsper share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 80%. The figure was up 200% sequentially but down 15.6% year over year. Revenues of $732.1 million (RUB 58.3 billion) lagged the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $811 million. In ruble terms, the figure rose 30% on a year-over-year basisand 40.8% from the previous quarter. Study finds brain abnormalities ‘common’ in COVID-19 patients

A new study is shedding light on how COVID-19 is disrupting normal brain function in infected patients. Researchers at the Baylor College of Medicine reviewed 84 studies involving more than 600 patients who had been diagnosed with COVID-19. The median age was 61, and two-thirds of the patients were men, while one-third were women. The list includes a game on Christmas Day and a bowl season that begins as conference championship games are being played. The first bowl of the 2020 postseason will be on Dec. 19.
